Ecos Service Center
The Service Center team provides integrated call, data and field solutions for the Residential Energy Efficiency Solutions division of Ecos. As a member of this team, you are critical to our success. Our Service Center has an immediate need for a Spanish Speaking Project Associate (Temporary), located in our Portland, Ore. headquarters. We are looking for a Spanish-speaker, with excellent phone skills available from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.
In this role, you will report to the Service Center Manager and experience all the benefits of working for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company while having a significant impact in energy efficiency, climate and sustainability.
Role Description
As our Project Associate, you will provide administrative assistance and coordination through service center tasks, specifically you will be coordinating schedules between homeowners and quality assurance inspectors, setting up, rescheduling and confirming appointments. You may also be required to review home energy audit data for accuracy and trends. The role includes other duties such as answering customer hotlines, reviewing forms for accuracy, data entry of rebate forms, printing and/or creating training materials, scheduling meetings and training sessions, and filing documents. In this role, you will support our Energy Efficiency Solutions program managers and project teams. As Project Associate, you will assist customers and be responsible for various special projects that are deadline driven. You will leverage your ability to speak Spanish in answering the occasional phone call from a Spanish speaking customer inquiring about energy efficiency programs.
Role Competencies
As our ideal candidate, you possess a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience involving customer service, interacting with clients in person and by phone, and organizing and prioritizing work tasks. You will possess proficiency in all of the Microsoft Office Suite products including an intermediate proficiency level in Excel. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a background in data or statistical analysis will go to the top of our list, familiarity with mapping or scheduling software also a plus. As a Project Associate, you will possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, be able to multi-task and concentrate on a repetitive task without compromising data quality, deliver the highest level of customer service, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, professional environment. You are an effective communicator, both written and verbal (English and Spanish), and are able to remain calm during hectic periods of activity. Flexibility, team work and a sense of fun will be essential to your success.
