Clackamas County Office of Sustainability is seeking an Energy Programs Coordinator. This position will develop, implement, coordinate, track, evaluate, and demonstrate success in initiatives to promote energy efficiency and renewables in Clackamas County government, businesses, residences, and communities. Energy efficiency activities include programs for green building, retrofits of public buildings, financing for community-based retrofits, and outreach and community engagement to move citizens from knowledge to action.

This position implements the County’s federal Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant using stimulus funds for 2.5 years. During the grant period long-term funding sources for energy initiatives will be pursued.

Competitive applicants will have:

- Knowledge and experience in energy efficiency practices and tools

- Demonstrated program and project management skills

- Outstanding teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills

- Community outreach and education skills, including comfort with public speaking

- Demonstrated attention to detail required to track and report results

- Strong Excel software skills for analysis, reporting, and visual representation of data

- Experience demonstrating progress and success in creating change (tracking and reporting)
