Solar Oregon seeks volunteers for Better Living Show

Solar Oregon, a nonprofit offering education and outreach about solar, is gearing up for the Energy Trust Better Living Show! The show, which had a turn out of about 20,000 attendees last year, encourages everyone to take one more step toward a healthier lifestyle. This year’s show runs from Friday, March 26th through Sunday, March 28th 2010 at the Portland Expo Center.

Solar Oregon is sponsoring the Clean Energy Pavilion section of the exhibit hall and is in need of volunteer greeters. Volunteers will help direct visitors to resources and answer simple solar questions. All volunteers will receive training about basic solar concepts, an introduction to the solar industry, and how to represent Solar Oregon. The first information meeting will be Thursday, March 4th.
