You are invited to a public overview of EPEAT, the global green certification system for electronics. EPEAT is a Portland-based program that is strongly influencing the environmental design of electronics worldwide. To confirm your attendance, please RSVP via email to Katherine Robbins at krobbins@isdf.org so we may plan appropriately. There is no fee for participation.
EPEAT is used by leading green purchasers around the world to specify and buy greener electronics. EPEAT registration is now required on over $60 billion worth of electronics purchase contracts, including contracts from national governments from the US to Brazil to Thailand, cities, states and provinces globally, leading companies, and by a growing number of consumers. EPEAT is required by all agencies of the US federal government, the state of Oregon, city of Portland, and is now used by Amazon.com to help consumers select greener electronics on their website.
