The Washington County ReStore is looking for a Warehouse Assistant and Donations Driver.

Overview
* This is a paid part-time position in a retail environment requiring customer service skills, managing donations, maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse as well as driving our truck or assisting a volunteer driver with donation pickups as needed.
* The Washington County ReStore operates with approximately 60% volunteer staff which change regularly; applicant must be able to respectfully direct volunteers of all types and ability levels in daily ReStore operations.

Location

Market manager wanted for the Moreland Farmers Market. This person must be an enthusiastic and organized individual who can manage day-to-day operations and continue the market’s growth. The Market Manager works with market vendors, customers, volunteers, and the community. This requires an on-site presence at the market during all market hours (Wednesdays for approx. 21 weeks per year plus special events), as well as off-site work during non-market hours.

I am opening a new cafe this Feb. called Open Space.

My focus, aside from the basics of coffee and food, is information and influence within the environmental conservation effort and instilling radical self-reliance. I am building the business around these core values and incorporating as many sustainable practices and innovations as I can. I'd like to set a higher standard for the way people perceive casual food service and their own place within our shared environment.
(We're not particularly preachy, just hopeful and aware.)
