YEA is not your typical summer camp, and our staff are not your typical summer camp staff. Quite possibly the best job in the world, counselors at our camps work with youth who are passionate about making a difference, and bring a level of experience, training, and positive energy and enthusiasm that makes our camps so extraordinary. Each of our camp sessions are eight days long. The Portland camp is July 27-Aug 3. A four-day mandatory staff raining will take place prior to camp in Portland July 23-26.

The Freshwater Trust, a non-profit leader in stream and river restoration, is seeking an experienced professional to join its Ecosystem Services team as Site Recruitment Manager. This full-time position will be responsible for securing project sites for implementation of restoration projects, particularly projects that will generate environmental credits for use in water quality trading programs. A successful candidate for this internship will exhibit a passion for sustainable building principles. The residential technical department intern is a temporary, part-time, unpaid position responsible for support and project-based assignments that advance Earth Advantage Institute’s mission. In this capacity, the intern will do the following:

• Assist with scheduling green home certification inspections in the Portland metropolitan area
• Learn the process flow of the technical department and help create efficiencies

Home weatherization experience is a must!

Must have an outgoing personality and good communication skills to work with customers and other employees

Be able to list 50lbs, climb ladders, crawl under buildings and attics, kneel, reach overhead and bend comfortably.
