This position will be active from April-October, with variable hours depending on month and need. June through August will average 30-40 hours per week, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and possibly Mondays; April, May, September and October will average 8-30 hrs per week with schedule to be determined.

Wage is $12.50/hour, but may be higher dependent on experience.

GROWING GARDENS digs at the root of hunger in Portland, Oregon by building organic Home Gardens in urban backyards. Our Youth Grow school garden clubs create future veggie eaters and cultivators. Our Learn & Grow classes cover cooking, preserving & more.

We are seeking an intern for our 7th Annual TOUR de COOPS. This is a fun and fabulous community event! Chicken owners throughout Portland will open their yards for a self-guided tour of urban coops.
