2nd Annual Women in Sustainability & Environment (WISE) Whitewater Rafting Trip

Join Women in Sustainability & Environment (WISE) for an awesome day of whitewater rafting on the White Salmon River. This trip is a great opportunity to network with women in the environment and sustainability fields.

It was a huge success last year, so don't miss your chance to snag a spot.

The cost is $65 and this includes rafting and a delicious BBQ lunch.

Running Volunteers Needed to Help Elementary School Girls Run a 5k!

Girls on the Run is an after school program dedicated to empowering young girls in 3rd through 5th grades. The 13-week curriculum culminates with the completion of a 5K running race.

The Running Buddy program matches adult women with our girls to help them reach their goal of finishing a 5k. The commitment is minimal: you’ll need to be available for two evenings.

Thursday, April 28th at 5pm (Practice run, Location TBD)
Saturday June 4th at 8 pm (Starlight 5k).

The Women in Trades Career Fair will be held at the NECA/IBEW Electrical Training Center, 16021 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97230.

The Fair is an incredibly effective way to discover career possibilities in the construction, mechanical, utility, and other trades. This is a chance for women and girls to meet tradeswomen, use power tools, operate equipment, and learn about apprenticeships and high-paying, highly skilled career opportunities in the trades.
