Launched in 2003, the NAMI Northwest Walk helps raise public awareness and crucial funds for NAMI Multnomah. As our largest event, 2,000 people from all across the state of Oregon, as well as Southwest Washington, join together to make a statement that recovery is possible; that mental health matters; and that people living with mental illness are a valuable part of our community.
Join NAMI Multnomah along with three City of Portland Commissioners, Portland Police, families and friends to walk in the largest fundraiser for NAMI Multnomah with $55,000 raised last year.

WHAT IS IT?
A 2-way route of city streets open to walk, bike, roll, run, jump and skip - without having to watch out for cars! The 7.5-mile North Portland Sunday Parkways route will have two loops, connecting Kenton, Arbor Lodge and Peninsula Parks, plus the beautiful Willamette Bluff. Food, music and activities are located in the parks and along the route.
The first of five Sunday Parkways events kicks off May 16th!

The 5.8-mile Northeast Portland Sunday Parkways route will have two loops, connecting Woodlawn, Alberta, Fernhill and Wilshire Parks. Food, music and activities are located in the parks and along the route.
Portland Roasting Coffee presents Walk for Water, a 3.1-mile amble around the Willamette that approximates the plight of millions of people worldwide who suffer from access to clean water. Walker registration fees and sponsors help raise money to fund the construction of wells in coffee-growing regions of Tanzania.
