Living green roofs provide many benefits, including saving money on utilities while greatly extending the life of a roof. There’s more to a green roof than putting soil and plants up on your shingles, and this workshop will give you the opportunity to learn it from a regional industry expert.

A two day school and expo offered with OSU Extension on watersheds and sustainable living. Includes credit toward the Master Watershed Stewards training requirements. Class and field trip topics include invasive species, Clean Water Act, Columbia Gorge geology, rain gardens, and more. Expo includes event, career and volunteer info from regional Watershed organizations.
