The Renewable Energy Technology Program prepares students for employment in a broad range of industries. These include hydro-generation, wind-generation, solar-generation, automated manufacturing, and engineering.

Residential tax credits and incentives often pay for up to 80% of the cost! Participants will come away with basic knowledge about solar energy systems and will be prepared to do more focused research on their own and start working with a contractor.
Join university researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and small businesses developing new renewable energy and sustainable built environment products and services for an all-day networking event and research expo at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. This year’s theme is the collaborative commercialization pipeline – from the research funding that generates breakthroughs to the creation and funding of new companies, products, and services that result from this research.
Solar Drinks is an opportunity for folks in the greater Portland area to meet other community members who support renewable energy. Come join us for a relaxed social and networking event where you can speak with Solar Oregon staff, solar industry members and your neighbors about any topic under the sun!
