Robin Everett of the Sierra Club will discuss Oregon's energy mix and the 41% of our energy that still comes from coal. She will also discuss the PGE-owned Boardman coal-fired power plant and whether PGE will invest $500 million into this aging coal plant or to transition to a clean energy future.

This May we are taking Green Drinks across the river for a party at Green Drop Garage.

Think music (provided by DJ Hot Biology), drinks (provided by Sierra Nevada, Hip Chicks Do Wine, and Guayaki) and fun (provided by you) sprinkled with a dose of entertaining education.

Our theme is Art and Sustainability. We will have a smattering of pieces on display by local art and fashion folks for your enjoyment! Lindsey Newkirk will speak for a few minutes about Sustainable Art. Lindsey is the founder of the Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Contest.
