JUNK TO FUNK'S SUMMER TRASHION CAMP REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!!
Is there an emerging 10-18 year-old Trashionista or Re-Use Baron in your midst? Not sure?
Have you ever found them:
Watching re-runs of Project Runway's recycled fashion challenge?
Digging for inspiration in your recycling bins instead of doing their homework?
Accessorizing with items you were sure really did belong in the trash?
How would you like to inspire them with a memorable and engaging creative summer experience taught by some of the most innovative re-users around town?
A joint networking event hosted by us and sponsored by Natural Awakenings magazine. Mainly an event for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and like-minded individuals interested in getting plugged in!
Join us for the Junk to Funk Trashion Collective’s 5th year anniversary party “Transformation” on Saturday February 5th 2011. This celebration will be a gallery installation showcase featuring new recycled fashion garments from their top “House of Trashion” designers to provide a fun, new way to experience trashion off the runway - up close and personal. The event will also serve as the re-launch of the Junk to Funk Trashion Collective.
Come join us for an evening of fun with Beer & Blooms - A Men’s Only Floral design class. Yep you read that correctly. We came up with the idea after hearing that Portland ranked last in a survey on which is America’s ’Manliest’ city! Obviously it was not a very accurate survey.
So seeing as how we can’t get any less manly, it’s time to embrace your inner ‘Gentle’man and join us for this one of a kind class. (Hey, you never know when it may come in handy? Valentine's Day is just around the corner!)
