Columbia Springs, an environmental education center located along the Columbia River in Vancouver, will present a series of classes on Native Plants and on Earth-friendly Gardening Practices. Classes can be taken individually or as a four-week series.
The Passive House Northwest Spring Regional Conference will be a fantastic event.
The venue is the Native American Longhouse at The Evergreen State Collage in Olympia, WA. A beautiful space for us to be spend the day in.

Alan AtKisson, Accelerating Innovation
Alan AtKisson helps governments, businesses and nonprofits accelerate innovation for sustainability. In 1990, he co-founded the Sustainable Seattle initiative, and went on to lead the National Indicators Program, Redefining Progress, the Belaton Group, and his own consulting company, the AtKisson Group. He is the author of two books: Believing Cassandra: An Optimist Looks at a Pessimist's World, and The ISIS Agreement: How Sustainability Can Improve Organizational Performance and Transform the World.
Roger Pielke, Jr.
Political scientist Roger Pielke, Jr. maintains that we'll make better progress on climate if we focus on energy innovation. Pielke is Professor of Environmental Studies at University of Colorado, and has held leadership positions at NCAR, CIRES, and the Breakthrough Institute. He is also author, co-author or co-editor of seven books, including The Honest Broker: Making Sense of Science in Policy and Politics, and The Climate Fix: What Scientists and Politicians Won't Tell you About Global Warming.
