We’ll be mixing it up a bit for this quarter’s SBO Network. We’ve asked Martin Tull, founding executive director of the Green Sports Alliance to share the young organization’s story, including their involvement with President Obama’s Better Buildings Challenge. Following Martin’s short talk, the SBO Network will evolve into a think tank, where we will brainstorm and scribe ideas, best practices and solutions that the Green Sports Alliance can share with their growing web of sports franchises and facilities.
A joint networking event hosted by us and sponsored by Natural Awakenings magazine. Mainly an event for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and like-minded individuals interested in getting plugged in!
Come join us for an evening of fun with Beer & Blooms - A Men’s Only Floral design class. Yep you read that correctly. We came up with the idea after hearing that Portland ranked last in a survey on which is America’s ’Manliest’ city! Obviously it was not a very accurate survey.
So seeing as how we can’t get any less manly, it’s time to embrace your inner ‘Gentle’man and join us for this one of a kind class. (Hey, you never know when it may come in handy? Valentine's Day is just around the corner!)
At InFARMation this month there will be a panel discussion regarding The Agricultural Reclamation Act and Eaters. The panel will break down the panelists experiences with this grassroots movement and why it's important, but will also talk about what is happening as a result of the ARA, and why it is so important that Eaters both understand and participate.
On August 19th we will be kicking off our series of in-store classes and events with what we feel, is a first…A Men’s Only Floral design class! Yep you read that correctly.
