Join us to celebrate another successful river clean up by We Love Clean Rivers, with live music, beer/wine, and art on First Thursday. The event will include art made from materials rescued from the Clackamas River, during We Love Clean River’s annual Clackamas Clean Up on September 11, 2011. The RiPPLe is a branch of WLCR, working to inspire the community to make sustainable choices with recyclables. The RiPPLe will be held at the KEEN building at 926 NW 13th Ave, Portland, OR.
Join us for the Junk to Funk Trashion Collective’s 5th year anniversary party “Transformation” on Saturday February 5th 2011. This celebration will be a gallery installation showcase featuring new recycled fashion garments from their top “House of Trashion” designers to provide a fun, new way to experience trashion off the runway - up close and personal. The event will also serve as the re-launch of the Junk to Funk Trashion Collective.

This May we are taking Green Drinks across the river for a party at Green Drop Garage.
Think music (provided by DJ Hot Biology), drinks (provided by Sierra Nevada, Hip Chicks Do Wine, and Guayaki) and fun (provided by you) sprinkled with a dose of entertaining education.
Our theme is Art and Sustainability. We will have a smattering of pieces on display by local art and fashion folks for your enjoyment! Lindsey Newkirk will speak for a few minutes about Sustainable Art. Lindsey is the founder of the Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Contest.

We would like to invite you and a guest to view an exhibition of five unique visions in large format prints. This pro bono photography project was a group effort by PhotoForce to show the cycle of food in Oregon and the impact that the Oregon Food Bank has across the state.
The exhibition will be held at Venue Pearl on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 5:00pm-10:00pm. The event is free and open to the public. Music and refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to bring a canned good donation for the Oregon Food Bank.
